The company develops and sells software that prevents sensitive information from being sent to the wrong e-mail recipients (misaddressed e-mail). Since the start in 2015, the company has experienced strong growth and currently has more than 300,000 users.
J2 Global, Inc. (JCOM: NASDAQ), a global cloud services, security and media group, acquired 100% of SafeSend in March 2019.
Skarpa was the advisor to the seller in the transaction.
