LabRum AB has been acquired by ADDvise Group

On February the 8th, the owners of LabRum AB signed an agreement to sell their business to ADDvise Group AB (publ). The access is scheduled for March 1, 2016. Both companies are engaged in the sale of interior, protective ventilation and laboratory equipment.

LabRum AB is one of Sweden’s oldest companies in the field of laboratory lab and laboratory ventilation. The acquisition also includes the subsidiaries LabRum Klimat Oy and LabRum AS and the ownership interest in the associated company Kinda Snickeri Fastighets AB.

Customers are found in both the private and public sectors. Sweden is the largest market, but many customers are also found in the rest of the Nordic countries. A smaller part of sales come from exports to Europe and the rest of the world.

LabRum currently has about 20 employees. For the financial year 2014/2015, the group had approximately 72.5 MSEK and generated an EBITDA result of approximately 7.4 MSEK.

ADDvise and LabRum’s activities complement each other well. For ADDvise, acquisition is strategically important as LabRum will increase the range of products, strengthen the presence in the Nordic market and strengthen the expertise in laboratory furnishings, protection ventilation and equipment for ADDvist’s business area Lab.
