Markis City Service AB has been acquired by Teqnion.

Markis City Service AB located in Nynäshamn, Sweden has been acquired by the First North listed company Teqnion (TEQ) on September 18^th.

Markis City Service is a nationwide service company focusing on reconditioning, profiling, warehousing, and distribution of refrigerators (among others) in the beverage industry. The profiling has been handled by Markis City’s subsidiary Dandy Dots. Both companies are headquartered in Nynäshamn and employ 18 employees.

Markis City Service and Dandy Dots have consolidated net sales of ca. 65 MSEK (54 MSEK) and EBT of 6 MSEK for the split financial year 18/19 (preliminary outcome ending 31/8). The consolidated sales growth rises 20% above last financial year.

The acquisition will be a part of Teqnion’s business area Niche. Acquisitions of niched companies is an important part of Teqnion’s strategy to create long term value growth in the group.
